I have previously looked at taking Pilates lessons but felt I needed somebody who both leads and helps me complete the movements correctly. My co-ordination is not brilliant. Lynnsey explains the movements and layers the movement building from foundation to intermediate. The classes are for 10 so they are small enough to still provide a personal touch and welcoming. Both my back and posture problems, including shoulders around the neck have improved and I was even able to start running. I totally trust Lynnsey as I know that her experience as an ex-dancer and as a Personal Trainer bring a wealth of knowledge to each class.Suzie (55)
Following a back injury, my physiotherapist recommended that I try Pilates as a way of continuing my recovery and to improve my overall condition. I was completely new to Pilates and really didn't know what to expect. So, with an open mind, I signed up for a beginners class with Lynnsey Rowan Personal Training months ago and haven't looked back since. Lynnsey is an incredible instructor and her classes at The Dojo Studio in Bath are just brilliant. She has a great ability to put you at ease and also spends one on one time with you in the session to help correct and improve your technique. I've had a noticeable increase in core strength and my back feels great. If you're thinking about trying Pilates, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lynnsey.Jeremy
Lynnsey is a truly fantastic trainer and I cannot recommend her services highly enough. A few months ago, I had a nasty accident resulting in a calf and back injury. Lynnsey helped me to regain my strength and my back is now completely pain free. Lynnsey is an incredibly kind trainer and has excellent knowledge and experience. I felt completely safe in her hands and have made remarkable progress. Along with her PT training, she is a specialist Pilates teacher and her knowledge of the body (especially back care) is remarkable. I am lucky to have had Lynnsey as my PT (& friend) for the best part of 10 years. In that time she has completely transformed my attitude towards the benefit of regular exercise as someone whose natural habitat was most certainly not the gym! Her ability to choreograph a completely unique workout each time provides variety and challenge from session to session which, together with her charm, kindness, humour and gentle cajoling has given me the confidence and ability to achieve more than I ever would without her. I have a long standing ankle weakness but thanks to Lynnsey's significant experience and knowledge (further enhanced by her recently aquired Pilates qualifications) I feel 100% secure that whatever she asks of me, I can do and will only be beneficial (even the dreaded bunny hops!). This is what keeps me coming back week after week as I know I will feel better physically as well as mentally after out sessions.
